Overview:
The VMware vRealize Orchestrator for vRealize Automation Fundamentals eLearning course is designed to educate students about important workflows that can be accomplished out-of-the-box with vRealize Automation. It provides examples of how vRealize Orchestrator can be used to extend the power of the product with customized workflows.

Objectives:   There are three lessons in this course.

At the end of Lesson One you will be able to:
•  Assess the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Anything as a Service (XaaS) extensibility features for vRealize Automation.

At the end of Lesson Two you will be able to:
•  Describe Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Anything as a Service (XaaS) functionality with vRealize Orchestrator.

At the end of Lesson Three you will be able to:
•  Describe Anything as a Service (XaaS) functionality with Advanced Service Designer (ASD).
 
Outline:   Lesson 1: An introduction to VMware vRealize Automation and an overview of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) extensibility and anything as a Service (XaaS) features.

Lesson 1 provides an introduction to Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Anything as a Service (XaaS) extensibility features for vRealize Automation.

At the end of this lesson, you will be able to:
•  Define the challenges of heterogeneous Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) deployment environments.
•  Explain Day-1 and Day-2 operations.
•  Describe Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) extensibility for vRealize Automation.
•  Assess the integration of the vRealize Orchestrator with vRealize Automation.
•  List examples of Anything as a Service (XaaS) delivery and Advanced Service Designer (ASD) capabilities.

•  Discover how to use library vRealize Orchestrator workflows.

Lesson 3 provides an introduction to Anything as a service (XaaS) with Advanced Service Designer (ASD).

At the end of this lesson, you will be able to:

•  Determine how Advanced Service Designer enables the delivery of Anything as a Service (XaaS).
•  Describe Anything as a Service (XaaS) blueprints.
•  Examine the role of vRealize Orchestrator for Anything as a Service (XaaS) blueprints.
•  List examples of custom resources.
•  Distinguish between managed and unmanaged objects.
•  Demonstrate Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Anything as a Service (XaaS) actions.
